Prelude

The term investigator in this report refers to anyone that is a member of the Ghost Hunters of the South paranormal research team.  The term attendee in this report refers to anyone at the investigation that is not a member of the Ghost Hunters of the South paranormal research team.

Reported Activity

The Campbell’s have witnessed dark figures standing in the hall way and around their bedrooms.  They have witnessed what was described as a smoky boxes flying through the house.  Friends have witnessed dark figures that would appear in the kitchen and attempt to stop people from leaving the house.  Also experienced were sheets and covers being pulled off the bed.  The Campbell’s have been awoken to what was described as a dark mask looming over their bed.  This same event had been witnessed by visitors staying over night at their residence.  Reports have also been made about items, specifically a window crystal, moving inside the master bathroom.  Mrs. Campbell has expressed a sense of uneasiness and being watched when ever in the house.  Lastly, Mrs. Campbell explained that most of the activity happens at around 3am.

 Preliminary Findings & Hypothesis

Our initial thoughts of the stories were focused around high EMF.  The house was built in the early 70’s when no regulation on shielded copper wiring use were mandatory.  We also would review the current of wind when the air conditioner would come on.  This would account for movement of the window crystal.

 Baseline Readings

Data Duration:  53hrs 45min.

Outside Humidity:  86%
Outside Temp:  62 degrees
Climate:  Clear
LST:  04:40
Electron Flux: 102 >0.2 MeV
Planetary K Index: 3.5 – 4.0 Kp
(K-indices of 5 or greater indicate storm-level geomagnetic activity.)
Geomagnetic:  109nT

Contrary to our initial thoughts, the electric and magnetic fields were extremely low.  Surprisingly there was no large variance over 1.0 throughout the house and around the electrical equipment with exception to the refrigerator.

Resonant Frequency Analysis

"Infrasonic frequencies are felt as vibrations which, if intense enough, may result in feelings of nausea, vertigo, hallucination and eventual black-out or internal hemorrhaging". Resonant frequency is how many times per second sound travels between a cavity and returns to its starting point. Resonant frequencies for some areas were calculated at room temperature (72 F) with the following formula: (1131.743 f/s) / (2 * Cavity Width (in feet)). Note that the 1131.743 feet/second figure is the speed sound travels at in room temperature, and frequencies below or near Alpha brain wave (< 13 Hz) frequencies were flagged in red, as there is a possibility that these affect the body more than higher infrasonic frequencies.

Experiential Analysis

The research team entered the site not knowing what to expect.  All information was withheld from the investigators to ensure an objective sense of the surroundings.  The researchers that are considered sensitive to paranormal events immediately picked up on a sense of hostility within the residence.  Other members of the team seemed to feel uneasy and evasive.  It was also noted that members seemed a bit easier to anger and make upset.  Members were in good spirits prior to the investigation with little or no negative emotion but during the investigation frustrations seemed exceedingly high.

During a vigil session, one investigator appeared to slide across the floor while in an Indian sitting position.  This occurred when the investigators were attempting to provoke the alleged spirit.  Three other investigators witnessed this event.  Also during the vigil, a window crystal in the master bathroom started to swing back and forth.  Wind speed within the bathroom was measured by the kestrel portable weather station and was found to be 0.  It was also verified by the research team that the air conditioner was not on.

During a vigil session prior to wrapping up the investigation, researchers heard what could only be described as a heavy puff of air as if someone was exploding a puff of air from ones cheeks.   Also of note was after the investigation and off site, investigators all complained of being completely drained and exhausted.

Conclusion

The investigation went real well as the setup went without a hitch.  With the evidence collected, and the first hand accounts of advanced paranormal activity we do strongly believe this house to be haunted.  We would like to return back to the house to reinvestigate but the next time we would like for the Campbell’s to be onsite and present at the time of most activity.
