Ghost Hunters of the South employs the use of film cameras. Film cameras are sensitive to the environment, electrical charges, and light waves that aren't noticeable to the naked eye.
They tend to be more expensive than digital cameras as well as a lot more difficult to use. The expense lays in the cost of the film. While taking pictures with a film camera we strongly suggest high speed film because of the low light areas that an investigation usually takes the investigator.
The beauty of film cameras is that images are harder to alter and manipulate unless the person using the film camera has a significant amount of skill during developing.
